In an impressive display at the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 India women thrashed Pakistan women. India won against Pakistan by seven wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 5th Sept 2026. India topped the group A table and reached the semi-final.
Pakistan Struggle With the Bat
Pakistan elected to bat first after winning the toss. They struggled against India’s methodical bowling display. Pakistan lost wickets intermittently after a sedate start with Muneeba Ali making 13 runs and Shawaal Zulfiqar adding 14 runs.
No one else among the Pakistan players scored runs.
Hence, Pakistan was dismissed for 55 in 18.1 overs a tough batting display, giving the Indians a minuscule target to track.
Shree Charani Leads India’s Bowling Attack
India’s bowling attack was the key behind their victory. Spinner Shree Charani has had a brilliant outing, her final figures being 3 wickets for just 7 runs. Prema Rawat has also done really well with 3 wickets for 9 runs.
Deepti Sharma managed to pick up 2 wickets as well giving away just 5 runs.
Spinner Shree Charani was declared the Player of the match and India’s spin attack continued to be on Pakistan batters all throughout the innings.
India Complete the Chase Quickly
India made sure they comfortably hunted down the target. 57/3 in just 8.4 over, and seven-wicket chase completed. Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur was on 18*(unbeaten) and finish for the Indians. Pakistan captain Fatima Sana finished with figures 3/17.
India Continue Their Strong Asia Cup Campaign
This is the 3rd straight win of India in the tournament. India recorded victories against Hong Kong and Thailand big margins before defeating Pakistan. Furthermore they have been excellent with bat as well as ball. Smriti Mandhana played some brilliant knock in the opening slot while others have also put pressure on opposition batting lineup.It was third victory for India on trot in the competition. Prior to thrashing Pakistan and Indian had won huge victory against Hong Kong and Thailand.
